Clear the Room: Make Space for Purpose - Day Three
Devotional:
A few years ago, I had to take a hard look at the environment I was creating for myself. I was doing all the "right" things—reading my Bible, praying, going to church—but my atmosphere didn’t reflect what I was believing God for. My playlist didn’t sound like worship, my conversations didn’t speak life, and the people I surrounded myself with weren’t fueling my purpose. It was no wonder I felt stuck.
God began to challenge me: What are you allowing to fill your space? I realized that purpose doesn’t just require clearing the room; it requires filling it with the right things. Like Jesus when He brought only the faith-filled people into Jairus’ house, I had to be intentional about what—and who—I let in.
This scripture reminds us to focus on things that are true, noble, lovely, and pure. It’s not just about what you think; it’s about what you listen to, what you watch, and who you allow to speak into your life.
If you’re believing God for miracles, your atmosphere has to align with your faith.
Creating the right atmosphere doesn’t mean you have to be perfect. It just means you have to be intentional. Start small—maybe it’s changing the first thing you listen to in the morning or choosing to spend time with people who push you closer to God. Maybe it’s turning off the noise of comparison on social media. Whatever it looks like for you, make the decision to fill your space with faith, hope, and truth.
Your atmosphere matters because it either nurtures your purpose or stifles it. So, what’s in your room? Is it filled with distractions, negativity, or doubt? Or is it a space where faith can flourish? The choice is yours, and God is ready to meet you right where you are.

Prayer: Lord, fill my space with Your presence. Let everything in my life reflect Your truth and glory. Guide me in creating an atmosphere where my purpose can thrive. Amen.
